Sam was abandoned on the freeway near Abbotsford. He adopted us on one of our visits to the Abbotsford SPCA. Now we can’t imagine life without one another! Sam is part Border Collie and part something unknown but bigger. He takes us for walks on the beach twice a day and, although he is over 12 years old, still thinks he’s a puppy.
Peter and Margaret and family have always shared their various homes with a dog (and most often two dogs). We have always given a home to a dog in the care of the SPCA. Our dogs have all been wonderful companions and family members.
Therefore we understand that some of our guests have canine travelling companions and we are pleased to offer them hospitality in pet-friendly Castlebury Cottage for a small extra charge.
